Japanese Mini Subs and ice creams on the headland!
Well we were blessed with yet another magic day down here on the Manly Peninsula. The sun was shining and Manly Bike tours gave a warm welcome to our friends Mark and Hannah from London, Fritz and Ellie from San Francisco and Amanda from Perth! One of the best tours we have had so far with some very stylish riding from the group all round. The group got to see it all today from Spring Cove, the old Manly Gas Works, St Patricks Estate, North Fort, Sydney Harbour National Park, Manly Beach and Manly Lagoon! We even had time for a relaxing break at the top of North Head for an aussie ice cream and a drink :) Great tour today guys and look forward to seeing you next time! Jono
October Wrap Up
Ok folks, we dont have enough space to fit every tour in, but here are a couple of standout photos from the last month. With Spring here, its an ideal time to get our on the bike path, with great weather and an incredible amount of animal life. Recently we have seen our resident sea lion frolicking off North Head. In the photos below, you might catch a glimpse of some celebrity guests - can you pick them?
Spring is here!
The amount of wildlife around Manly is amazing. We spotted some lizards, cormorants and luckily, for one nervous tour guide, we spotted some dolphins as well. Our "friendly" Magpie visited us again along the road to North Head too... which always makes for an exciting tour. We have daily sightings of whales at the moment, with almost as regular dolphin spotting, so its a great time to get on a bike and explore Manly.
